Almost Ready To Go!

Thursday is the day!  Just a few more things to get ready.  I've been trying to reduce the amount of things I'm taking to meet the luggage restrictions.  After I get to Lilongwe, the capitol, I will not have access to the internet or email for the first 2 months during training.  I will have a mail address which you can find in the column on the right.

Thanks to all my friends for your support and encouragement.  I'll keep you posted.

AFRICA: is where you are and I am here in the last of the remains of the once "great" North America...simple living is great but the means to get there is best known by the likes of you...we use wood for heat and cooking, too...we do have one solar panel which we use for some lighting, radio charging & cell phone charging...bicycle use is down with the taxi being our main source of look real good in your picture, with peace and health and harmony...

This is great, Jim. You're sure giving us an education. I'm glad to make a donation to all the causes you find over there....over there where the peace comes marching home.
We did a meditation retreat here and sent some good energy your way.

Even though it is just little bits of electricity flying through the ether the contents of this blog are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the US government or the Peace Corps.
